Marburg, Aug 29th, 2013 – VI-grade, the leading provider of best-in-class products and services to bridge the gap between real world testing and technical simulation, today announced that Showa Corporation, Japanese supplier for the transportation industry with a particular focus on automotive and motorcycle components, selected VI-CarRealTime and VI-Motorcycle, the specialized real-time vehicle simulation and motorcycle simulation environments from VI-grade, as preferred CAE system-level simulation technologies for their product development process. In detail, Showa Corporation has been using VI-CarRealTime and VI-Motorcycle Plus Packages since more than two years to successfully develop new products thanks to the powerful functionalities offered by these solutions.
Showa Corporation widely utilizes software products and professional support from VI-grade in the development process of their new products for the automotive and the motorcycle racing industries, for example new variable dampers, new EPS steering and MOTO GP racing study for motorcycles. Showa has also recently completed with success the development of a new high-performance and low-cost conventional-variable damper component.
