Simulations with hardware, software and Human-in-the-Loop have become a fundamental tool for product definition, integration, development and validation. Cosimulation is fundamental for faster development, better results, lower costs at zero risks for different applications, including electrification and propulsion systems, digitalization, assisted and autonomous driving, smart mobility. The new possibility of making cosimulation between rigs installed kilometers away from each other without the need to install specific infrastructure and with no latency is an enabling technology to open new and more effective scenarios to exploit digital twins and virtual developments.
