USING A DIM250 TO SUBJECTIVELY ASSESS VIRTUAL TYRE METHODOLOGIES

As the result of a commercial partnership with Horiba-MIRA, Giti Tire was able to evaluate different tyre modelling methodologies in an efficient and cost-effective way by leveraging the capabilities of the DiM250 Simulator hosted in the new MIRA Driving Simulator Centre. Starting from MIRA’s digital-twin modelling procedures and simulator set-up the presentation will discuss how Giti's professional drivers were able to perform soft handling assessments on the DiM250 and provide useful feedback to their tyre modelling engineers.
